 05/10/2011 - It's Only A New Bloody Year Probably a bit late this update, but what the hell. Welcome to Lancaster University Cycling Club, the only club or society dedicated to bikes on campus. We meet every Wednesday outside the library at 2pm. We welcome people of all abilities so come along and say hi. We will also be at the Freshers Fair on the 06/10/11 on the Nuffield Theatre where you can join up. Remember though you will need a purple card!! Posted by Jason 03/04/2010 - BUCS 10 Mile TT Championships 24th April is the date for the BUCS 10 Mile TT Championships in Cambridge. At the moment we are 3-4 people doing it, but we would of course love it if as many as possible would represent the club. Here is the link for the event: http://www.bucs.org.uk/page.asp?section=14737§ionTitle=10+Mile+TT+Championships If you are interested, you have to send the 'Entry form' together with the 'Eligibilty form' so the organiser receives it by 13th April. This is very important! Also important is that the 'Eligibility form' is signed by the LUSU Sports Coordinator. If you're in Lancaster, then you can just pop by the LUSU building and get it done yourself. If you're away however, you'll have to post it to Jason ASAP who will sort it out for you. We will rent an automobile of some kind depending on how many who are going, so please take contact swiftly if you're interested. WOOOO I have passed the minibus test today :) Now both me and stu can drive vans and minibuses, and as phil has just turned 21 he can now drive a van, so we are all set for trips next term.
